Burglary insurance indemnifies you against loss of or damage to your property within the premises caused by theft or attempted theft following entry to or exit from your premises by forcible and violent means or assault, violent or threat thereof to the you or your employees or people to whom the your property is entrusted.

It also covers damage to your building, fixtures and fittings, your property or for which you are legally responsible during the theft or attempted theft of the property insured in the Policy up to amount specified in the Policy.
